Hi, I’m Gina Gray, author of A Head Start – A Young Person’s Guide to Success in the Workforce. I’m passionate about my work – writing, editing and proofreading – and it took me a while to figure that out. I want everyone else to enjoy their life more by finding the job or career that they’ll love. There’s nothing better than being paid for what you enjoy doing because it doesn’t feel so much like work and it satisfies you to your very core.

I wrote the book for a range of reasons, one of which is the desire to help young people figure out what works for them instead of frittering away their life like so many of us do. It’s been written for Aussies, aged 15-24, but the information and skills are easily transferrable to any country. Anyway, here’s the blurb from my website and a link to more information.

Don’t waste your life! This book helps you find a job or career you’ll enjoy and shows you how to advance in it.

Find out what employers are looking for, how to set goals and achieve them, how to handle workplace matters like politics and bullying, how to juggle work and study, how to relate better with work mates and customers, and more.

Includes examples and activities plus advice and tips from young people.
